Thank you for visiting this site
I have always had a passion for landscape and natural history as a subject for painting and photography.
This passion led me to study at the West Surrey College of Art and Design , where I graduated in 1983 with a BA hons in Fine Art.
My career began in the Audio Visual industry as a rostrum cameraman , eventually progressing to a Producer of multimedia programes for the Corporate Industry.
In 1992 I had a change of career to the world of horticulture , where as a Head Gardener my interest in landscape and flora has been combined with my creativity in a practical way.
As you can see I have continued to produce photographs that reflect my lifelong passion for landscape and my professional interest in gardens and plants. I regard myself as being a small part of the long tradition of British artists and photographers who have looked to their native landscape for inspiration . For example Samuel Palmer, JMWTurner , John Nash, and John Piper , have all been an influence on my work
I have previously exhibited in London and Hong Kong, the later being a collection of my Infra-Red film photography.
I hope you enjoy exploring my galleries and feel free to leave any comments you may have.
Please note this site is still being updated and I hope to offer my photographs for purchase as mounted prints in the near future, so do continue to visit, or contact me.
